Sharing the Good News invites participants to rediscover evangelism not as a pressured performance but as a natural overflow of life with God. Rooted in relationship and shaped by the Spirit, this journey begins with abiding in Christ and reconciliation with others. From that foundation of intimacy and wholeness, participants learn to perceive God’s mission already unfolding around them and join it with humility and joy. Across eight weeks, the study moves from being with God to becoming like Jesus to bearing witness in word and deed. Each session combines Scripture reflection, communal discernment, and practical application, helping participants notice where the Spirit is stirring desire and opportunity. The result is a Spirit‑led posture of witness — grounded, compassionate, and attuned to God’s initiative rather than driven by human tactics.

John 15 sits within the final hours before Jesus’ crucifixion. Chapters 13–17 capture intimate, private teaching given after the Last Supper. Judas has departed to betray Him (John 13:30), and Jesus is preparing the remaining disciples for life without His physical presence. They are anxious, and He offers reassurance: though He is leaving, their relationship with Him will not end—it will deepen through His Spirit. The vineyard imagery was familiar to first-century Jews. Vineyards covered the hillsides of Judea, and the vine symbolized national identity. The temple even displayed a massive golden vine over its entrance. So when Jesus declared, “I am the true vine,” He was making a bold claim: He, not the temple or national heritage, is the true locus of God’s life and presence. John’s Gospel often uses “I am” statements to reveal Jesus’ divine identity (e.g., “I am the bread of life,” “I am the light of the world”). Here, “I am the true vine” signals both continuity and fulfillment—God’s ancient plan now flowering in Christ.
